AIA’s work extends to all places and sectors where people interact, and create teams and communities. This includes the world of work. Organizations’ Team is an initiative that started organically from AIA’s community, by people who worked in organizations and hoped that they could bring some of the wisdom they gained in AIA work back to their workplaces.
For more than 10 years now this team has created a unique atmosphere for learning, development, connection and personal and professional transformation. At the heart of its work is to connect people from different professional sectors, in various phases of life, career and hierarchy levels. People in new beginnings or closures, crossroads or impasses, progress or crisis, but always in motion and searching. People initially unknown to each other along the way become members of a unique Team, fellow travellers, explorers, inventors and sometimes lifelong friends.
At the core of its content, Organizations’ Team searched answers to questions such as:
How do we set and crystallize our goals, how do we utilize the resources and how do we overcome the obstacles that exist around us and within us and how do we finally reach them – or even overcome them?
How do we manage the constant change and uncertainty of our environment by building both our resilience and flexibility?
How do we best manage and lead our team?
How do we better manage and lead ourselves?
How do we manage our time and resources more effectively?
How do we communicate more effectively with our interlocutors and how do we present our arguments to convince them rather than compel/force them?
How do we give and receive feedback in a way that helps both our growth and the development of our colleagues?
How can we as individuals and as groups/organizations be in a constant cycle of evolution, renewal & innovation by leading (rather than following) the flow of developments?
How do we balance logic with our emotions and what added value can this balance bring to both the workplace and our personal lives?
How do we get to and from our peak and – perhaps even more difficult – how do we stay there?
And of course, any other issues and needs that arise from the team itself.
