Olympia Kastania is a psychologist, therapist and associate at the Athens Institute of Anthropos (A.I.A). She has devoted more than 25 years to therapy and education. Her focus is on helping children and adults and since 2012, she has been a facilitator of a mother's group at A.I.A. She earned her Bachelor in Psychology from Panteion University in Athens. She obtained a Master of Arts degree from Keele University. Her degree focused on Community Care and Learning Disabilities. In 2001, she began training in systemic psychotherapy at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (A.I.A). Her studies emphasized group therapy and family therapy. He also received training in administering psychometric tests. These tests include WISC-III, WIPSI, WAIS, Bender, Athena, and MMPI. He also learned how to conduct projective tests like painting and history tests, TAT, and CAT. She worked as a psychologist in kindergartens, and speech and learning centers. She also worked in therapeutic institutes and Centers for Mental and Pedagogical Counseling. She has worked with rehabilitation centres and mental health facilities. She primarily focuses on evaluating the mental and emotional well-being of individuals. She offered support and counselling to individuals and families. In addition, she trained and supervised teams of specialists in treatment facilities. The teams include speech and language specialists, special educators, and occupational therapists.
Since 2006, she has run a private office where she offers counselling and psychotherapy. She offers individual, group, and family sessions. Additionally, she provides mental and emotional assessments for individuals of all ages. She is a member of the Hellenic Society for Systemic Therapy.
