Description
The seminar “Developing a Systemic Approach” constitutes one of the core pillars of AKMA’s educational and scientific practice.
It is an experiential learning framework in which the process of both the small and the large group functions as a central field for understanding and processing experience.
The learning process connects the study of human relationships with social, cultural, and economic changes, highlighting the dynamics of systems under conditions of change and complexity.
Within this framework, the person is approached as a dynamic bio-psycho-social-cultural system, in continuous interaction with the systems in which they participate — such as the couple, the family, professional groups, and the wider social environment.

What Graduates Said About the Seminar
LETTER TO THE TRAINERS
Dear team of trainers and coordinators,
The first thing that came to our minds was the need to thank you for everything you offered us. Thank you for the care and genuine concern that was present each time, always focusing on the needs that emerged within the group, even beyond the completion of each meeting. Thank you for your consistency and dedication. Thank you for creating a safe space in which we felt secure. Thank you because, despite the difficulties in communication, we felt connected. Thank you for allowing us to get to know one another and to bring forward our authentic selves. Thank you because we felt whole and free to experience all our emotions, most intensely the feeling of love.
Dear team, coordinators and educators
Homer defines travel as an encounter with new ways of thinking. This experience, too, was a journey for us. A journey in which, at times, we chose to close our eyes and let ourselves go; at other times, we realized that our eyes had been closed without our awareness; and at still other moments, we found ourselves perceiving the same thing in entirely different ways. Like every journey, this one also had many unknown places inviting us to explore them. We recognized aspects of ourselves through the stimuli we received from one another, often identifying with the other members in an almost magical way. At other times, we differentiated ourselves from the group, while each of us was able to travel at our own pace and in our own time. The sea blended what was within us with what was within the others, and through dialectics these inner worlds transformed and took new forms.
After this journey, we would like to thank you for all the emotions, for the connection, for the learning steps we climbed together, and for the high standard you managed to maintain despite all the adverse circumstances. We are certain that, just as we received from you, you also received from us. Looking forward to the continuation of the journey…
Have a wonderful summer.
Dear friend,
I am writing to you today as this is our final meeting in DSP II. I would like to share some thoughts with you. When I began this journey two years ago, I could never have imagined how enriched I would become through it — filled with experiences, emotions, relationships, connections, and even the calories from little cigars. I never expected that my systemic knowledge would emerge from within me in such an experiential and therapeutic way. It inspired me to commit myself without feeling obliged, and to participate while feeling like an important member and integral part of the group.

Dear
My participation in the seminar “Developing a Systemic Approach” at AIA ultimately became something far beyond an educational process. To my surprise, throughout this journey, my way of understanding the Human Being was reshaped — no longer as an isolated existence, but as part of a community. The experiential nature of the seminar functioned, first of all, as a bridge to theory. Moreover, through the connection that was developed within the group, we came to better understand aspects of ourselves and discovered a new way of exploring and perceiving the world. Through our interaction, we enriched our polyphonic selves. Space was given to every voice within the group, and through these voices, new horizons opened up, strengthening acceptance. Many principles we once held in life took on new meaning. Autonomy no longer signifies loneliness and distance, but rather connection and security that allow us to become interdependent while also differentiating ourselves.
The seminar helped us discover a new personal meaning, both as human beings and as professionals, in a way that challenged rigid dualities and strengthened the sense of wholeness. Through this process, we began a journey of personal growth that, of course, does not end with the completion of the seminar, but instead opens pathways toward new perspectives.
So, if you are deeply curious about all of this, and eager to experience and co-create a similar journey together with other people, then THIS is the seminar you should choose.
