Psychologist and Systemic Psychotherapist
Konstantina Kapranou was born in 1967 in Piraeus.
She is a psychologist and systemic psychotherapist, working with individuals, families, and groups. She studied at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), attending the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology (1985–1989) and later completing the Psychology Program (1994–1996).
From 1990 to 2010, she participated—both as a trainee and as a client—in a range of training programs at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AKMA), focusing on systemic epistemology and its therapeutic applications.
She worked as a psychologist at the Argyroupoli Prevention Center – OKANA from 2000 to 2006. Since 2006, she has been working at the Korydallos Community Mental Health Center, part of Dromokaitio Psychiatric Hospital, which offers community-based mental health services.
She is a member of the Association of Greek Psychologists and holds a European Certificate in Psychology – EuroPsy. She is also a member of the Hellenic Association for Systemic Therapy for Families, Individuals and Groups (HELLASYTH) and was a member of its Executive Board (2016-2019, 2019 – 2022).
She is married and a mother of two.
