Children & Adolescents
The systemic intervention for children and adolescents at AIA offers a flexible and holistic approach that supports their emotional and social development.
At AIA, special attention is given to children and adolescents through individual or family therapeutic interventions, as well as focused empowerment groups.
The empowerment groups for children and adolescents are a journey of development and evolution, where participants explore themselves and the world around them through experience, play, and creative forms of expression. In the groups for children (elementary school students), children learn to listen to themselves and others, express their thoughts and feelings, accept their uniqueness, and set boundaries when needed. In a safe environment, they strengthen trust, foster collaboration, and develop skills for managing challenges.
The adolescent groups (middle and high school students) provide a space where teenagers can share their concerns, process them from new perspectives, and find ways to manage changes and relationships. Through experiential methods, they explore their self-image, the dynamics of relationships, and the challenges of adolescence. The group becomes a tool for self-awareness and empowerment, cultivating emotional resilience and self-confidence, enabling them to envision and create a future that satisfies them.
