Description

The Adolescent Empowerment Group (for middle and high school students) is a safe space where teens can share their concerns, process them from new perspectives, and find new ways to manage them.

It is a place where they can express their feelings and thoughts, listen to others, and put themselves in someone else’s shoes. Through experiential/participatory learning methods and creative games, teens address key issues of this complex stage of life, such as changes in their self-image and relationships with peers and family.

Using the group’s dynamic as a tool, space is created for self-exploration, the discovery, and utilization of new skills, to enhance motivation, a sense of inner strength, and the belief that they will succeed. This way, they can dream of a future that fulfills them.
