Systemic Family and Group Psychotherapist

Varvara Stefanakou is a family psychotherapist and group psychotherapist. She received her first degree (BA) with a specialization in psychology from the American College of Greece. She completed postgraduate studies in Intercultural Psychology at Brunel University in London and subsequently trained in systemic psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA).

She is a member of the Hellenic Association for Systemic Therapy (HE.SY.TH.) and holds the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). She is the founder of the Personal Development Space F.e.e.l. (formerly Open School) and an external collaborator of the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA). For the past three years, she has also collaborated with HELLAS EAP, the leading provider of Employee Assistance Programs in Greece.

She has worked with numerous educational institutions, companies, and associations — including the Athens University of Economics and Business, Papadopoulos Publishing, Athens College, the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People, City Bank, and others. She has conducted many workshops and given talks on topics related to emotional development, parenting, and education.

For the past 22 years, she has been working therapeutically with families — parents and children — as well as with groups.
