Psychologist – M.A., Systemic Psychotherapist – ECP

Pavlos Salichos holds a degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Criminology from Panteion University. He has been trained in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (A.K.M.A.), with which he collaborates in various capacities.

His professional and research experience focuses primarily on the prevention and management of youth violence and delinquency, the prevention of social exclusion, and the (re)integration of vulnerable social groups. He has also worked extensively on issues related to child rights protection, institutional and alternative care, and the fostering of children outside their biological families.

He has collaborated with numerous relevant organizations, including ARSIS – Association for the Social Support of Youth, EPANODOS – Center for the Reintegration of Ex-Prisoners, SOS Children’s Villages Greece, The Smile of the Child, Médecins Sans Frontières, Solidarity Now, and The Home Project, among others.

In parallel, he maintains a private psychotherapy practice, applying a systemic–dialectical, multi-level and multi-focal approach with individuals, groups, and families. He has also designed and facilitated numerous experiential seminars and talks for students, mental health professionals, educators, and parents, based on Systemic Epistemology.

He is a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society (SEPS), the Hellenic Association for Systemic Therapy (ELESYTH), the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), and the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA).
