Olympia Kastania is a psychologist and systemic therapist, and an associate at the Athens Institute of Anthropos (A.I.A.).

She has dedicated over 25 years to psychotherapy and education, with a strong commitment to supporting both children and adults.

Since 2012, she has facilitated a mothers’ group at A.I.A., focusing on emotional support, self-awareness, and family relationships.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Panteion University in Athens and a Master of Arts from Keele University in the UK, with a specialisation in Community Care and Learning Disabilities. In 2001, she began her training in systemic psychotherapy at the Athens Institute of Anthropos, where she specialised in group and family therapy.

Olympia has also been trained in the administration of psychometric assessments, including the WISC-III, WPPSI, WAIS, Bender, Athena Test, and MMPI, as well as in projective testing techniques such as drawing, storytelling, the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), and the Children’s Apperception Test (CAT).

Her professional experience includes work as a psychologist in kindergartens, speech and learning centres, therapeutic institutions, and Centers for Mental and Educational Counseling. She has collaborated with rehabilitation units and mental health services, focusing on psychological evaluation, counseling, and family support. She has also provided training and supervision to interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, special educators, and occupational therapists.

Since 2006, she has maintained a private practice, offering individual, group, and family therapy, as well as comprehensive psychological assessments for people of all ages.

She is a member of the Hellenic Association for Systemic Therapy.
