Lykourgos Karatzaferis is a psychiatrist with a postgraduate specialization in Mental Health Promotion and Prevention of Psychiatric Disorders, and additional training in innovative approaches and interventions for individuals with psychotic experiences.

He has primarily worked in community psychiatry-oriented services, including the Mobile Mental Health Unit of the Dodecanese, as consultant psychiatrist in residential facilities (hostels and supported housing units), and in interdisciplinary therapeutic teams at the Community Mental Health Center of Agioi Anargyroi.

He has actively collaborated with people with lived psychiatric experience, focusing on advocacy and self-representation.
