Family and Group Psychotherapist
Veta Gakou is a Family and Group Psychotherapist, and one of the founding members of the Hellenic Society for Systemic Therapy (ELESYTH). She served for several years on the Board of Directors of EPEAS (Society for the Promotion of Human Relations Research).
She is a regular member of both the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) and the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA).
She studied Therapeutic Pedagogy at the University of Freiburg, Switzerland, and Psychology at the University of Lausanne.
In Greece, she received advanced training at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA) in systemic therapy, with a focus on family and group therapy.
As a core collaborator of AIA, she has participated in the coordination of training programs across various European universities, and has also contributed to the training of clinical staff at KETHEA Larissa (Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals).
