Antonia Papastathi is a Psychologist and Sociologist trained in the Systemic, Dialectical, Multi-Focal, Multi-Level Approach at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA), where she also participates in the training team of the seminar “Dialectical Systemic Applied Epistemology.” She has additionally trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and holds a specialisation in Health Services Management from the National School of Public Health.
She has worked in support structures for children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as in services assisting vulnerable populations, collaborating with organisations such as SOS Children’s Villages and the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency (E.A.T.A.) within programs of the UNHCR. She has facilitated groups for parents, adolescents, and adults, and has implemented psychoeducational and educational programs in communities and organisations.
She maintains a private practice where she works with groups, couples, families, and individuals, applying the Systemic Approach with respect for each person’s uniqueness, history, and needs. Her systemic perspective is nourished by her belief in the power of relationship, collaboration, and human connection.
She is a regular member of the Hellenic Society for Systemic Therapy (Hellasyth/ΕΛΕΣΥΘ).
She comes from Skyros, an island that remains a point of reference for her. Its natural calmness, sense of community, and vibrant tradition—connecting people with their roots—nourish her personally and inspire her professionally.
