Angela Menni<\/strong> was born in Athens and raised on the island of Chios. She is a graduate of the Department of Social Work at the Athens University of Applied Sciences (TEI)<\/strong> and was trained in Systemic, Dialectical, Multifocal, and Multilevel Psychotherapy<\/strong> at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AKMA)<\/strong>. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with AKMA as a trainer in the Principles of Group Process<\/strong>. She has also completed Level 2 (Core Skills) training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT)<\/strong> and received additional training in Group Process and the Role of the Facilitator<\/strong> based on the Processwork approach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professionally, she views education as a continuous process of personal development and growth, actively participating in conferences, seminars, and workshops on Processwork<\/strong>, systemic practice<\/strong>, and related fields. Since 2019, she has maintained a private psychotherapy practice for adults<\/strong>, working with individuals, couples, and groups<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From 1999 to 2020, she held leadership positions in major organizations. From 1999 to 2008, she worked at the Development Agency \u201cENA CHIOU\u201d<\/strong>, managing programs for vulnerable groups, human resources, and European projects. From 2009 to 2019, she worked at the Child and Adolescent Center (KPE)<\/strong> in Peristeri, Attica, providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families<\/strong> in both Chios and Athens dealing with psychiatric and developmental disorders. Her responsibilities included community outreach<\/strong>, design and implementation of public health promotion activities<\/strong>, and parental counseling<\/strong> for families of individuals on the autism spectrum<\/strong>. In 2010, she became a member of the Child and Adolescent Center\u2019s Board of Directors<\/strong>, serving as Vice President<\/strong> for two consecutive terms.<\/p>\n

Deeply committed to Community Psychiatry<\/strong> and Social Economy<\/strong>, she has played a key role in founding two Social Cooperatives for Mental Health (KOISPEs)<\/strong>: \u201cOrion\u201d (Chios)<\/em> and \u201cAthina-Elpis\u201d (Attica)<\/em>. These cooperatives aim to provide employment and social reintegration<\/strong> opportunities for people with psychosocial difficulties. From 2000 to 2004, she was part of the founding team of KOISPE Chios, later serving as President of the Board of Directors (2004\u20132010)<\/strong>. From 2011 to 2023, she collaborated with KOISPE Athina-Elpis<\/strong>, supporting employees with mental health challenges, and from 2013 to 2020 served on its Supervisory Council. Since 2014, she has worked with other mental health professionals to design and facilitate experiential personal development seminars<\/strong> and support groups for practitioners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
