Nikos Kaitsas was born and raised in Athens, Greece<\/strong>. He studied Psychology<\/strong> and specialized in Systemic, Dialectical, Multifocal, and Multilevel Psychotherapy<\/strong> at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AKMA)<\/strong>, where he now collaborates as a trainer and clinical supervisor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He has worked with psychiatric patients and their families<\/strong> in the family therapy outpatient unit<\/strong> of the psychiatric department at General Hospital \u201cAgia Olga\u201d<\/strong>. He was also involved in the development, standardization, and application of psychometric tools<\/strong>, as well as staff selection and assessment<\/strong>, at ISON Psychometrica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with child protection organizations<\/strong> such as SOS Children\u2019s Villages Greece<\/strong> and The HOME Project<\/strong>, supporting children, adolescents<\/strong>, and unaccompanied refugee minors<\/strong> facing trauma, abuse, and neglect<\/strong>. His responsibilities included the selection, training, supervision, and support<\/strong> of mental health professionals and all staff working with children and adolescents. He has also provided training and supervision<\/strong> to public and private child care and protection organizations<\/strong>, promoting the transfer of know-how and best practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy<\/strong>, and with the support of the Athenian Institute of Anthropos<\/strong>, he implemented resilience-building and trauma management programs<\/strong> for active-duty members of the Hellenic Coast Guard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since 2009<\/strong>, he has maintained a private psychotherapy practice<\/strong>, working with individuals, couples, and groups<\/strong>, while also supervising psychologists, social workers<\/strong>, and mental health professionals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    He is a full member of the Hellenic Society for Systemic Therapy (ELESYTH)<\/strong>, the Hellenic Society for Psychotherapy (EE\u03a8E)<\/strong>, and the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
