He studied <strong data-start=\"371\" data-end=\"386\">Social Work<\/strong> and went on to specialize in the <strong data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"443\">field of addictions<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"490\">University of San Diego, California<\/strong>. For over <strong data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"517\">twenty years<\/strong>, he worked across all phases of addiction treatment\u2014<strong data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"636\">Motivation, Psychological Rehabilitation, Social Reintegration<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"660\">Family Support<\/strong>\u2014many of them in <strong data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"704\">senior leadership roles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"868\">He also completed a <strong data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"777\">Postgraduate Program in Health Unit Management<\/strong>, with a focus on addiction services, at the <strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"867\">National School of Public Health (Greece)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"1006\">His training in the <strong data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"923\">Systemic Dialectical Approach<\/strong> began in <strong data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"941\">1992<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1005\">Athens Center for the Study of Human Behavior (AKMA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1142\">He holds a <strong data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1059\">Master\u2019s Degree in Adolescent Health<\/strong> from the <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1141\">Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1295\">Since <strong data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1158\">2010<\/strong>, he has been a regular collaborator of <strong data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1206\">AKMA<\/strong> and maintains a <strong data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1243\">private practice<\/strong>, working with <strong data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1294\">individuals, couples, and groups<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1426\">He is a <strong data-start=\"1305\" data-end=\"1365\">member of the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA)<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1425\">Hellenic Society for Adolescent Medicine (EEEI)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1576\">In recent years, his research has focused on the <strong data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1575\">value of psychosocial interventions in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":32624,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"akma-member-category":[270,272,271],"class_list":["post-37314","cv-bio","type-cv-bio","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","akma-member-category-synergatis-en","akma-member-category-scientific-team","akma-member-category-epoptis-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/cv-bio\/37314","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/cv-bio"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/cv-bio"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/cv-bio\/37314\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":41060,"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/cv-bio\/37314\/revisions\/41060"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/32624"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=37314"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"akma-member-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/akma-member-category?post=37314"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
