{"id":37311,"date":"2024-11-24T15:38:24","date_gmt":"2024-11-24T15:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/cv-bio\/antoniou-antonis\/"},"modified":"2025-06-18T19:11:28","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T19:11:28","slug":"antoniou-antonis","status":"publish","type":"cv-bio","link":"https:\/\/akma.gr\/en\/cv-bio\/antoniou-antonis\/","title":{"rendered":"Antoniou Antonis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"430\"><strong>Antonis Antoniou<\/strong> graduated from the <strong data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"377\">Department of Psychology at the University of Crete (Rethymno)<\/strong> and went on to complete two postgraduate programs:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"579\">\n<li data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"506\">\n<p data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"506\"><strong data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"467\">Counseling and Career Guidance<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"499\">University of Athens<\/strong>, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"579\">\n<p data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"579\"><strong data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"551\">Organizational and Economic Psychology<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"578\">Panteion University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"1047\">From <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"602\">2000 to 2021<\/strong>, he worked in the fields of <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"728\">support, empowerment, and therapy for individuals experiencing or at risk of social exclusion<\/strong>. With a strong focus on <strong data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"785\">adolescents and young people<\/strong>, and a deep belief in the value of working with <strong data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"860\">groups and communities<\/strong>, he has participated in the design, coordination, and implementation of programs and actions in <strong data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1046\">prisons, shelters, youth hostels, institutions, schools, and in street-based outreach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1555\">In <strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1060\">2003<\/strong>, he began his training in <strong data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1137\">Systemic Dialectical Epistemology and Practice<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"1145\" data-end=\"1201\">Athens Center for the Study of Human Behavior (AKMA)<\/strong>. He completed further training in <strong data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1266\">group process facilitation<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1278\">2013<\/strong>, and a <strong data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1317\">Supervisor Training Seminar<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1329\">2022<\/strong>. Since <strong data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1345\">2009<\/strong>, he has collaborated with AKMA, facilitating <strong data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1441\">empowerment and therapy groups for adolescents<\/strong>, conducting <strong data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1486\">individual and group therapy<\/strong>, and participating in various <strong data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1554\">training and therapeutic programs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1796\">He is currently a <strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1610\">member of the coordinating team<\/strong> of the <strong data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1688\">AKMA Seminar on Group Empowerment for Adolescents and Young Adults<\/strong>, and implements <strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1742\">supervision and training programs<\/strong> for groups and professionals across diverse settings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1798\" data-end=\"1998\">Since <strong data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"1812\">2008<\/strong>, he has maintained a <strong data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"1868\">private psychotherapy practice<\/strong>, working with <strong data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1929\">individuals, couples, families, and groups<\/strong>, while also offering <strong data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"1979\">training and supervision<\/strong> for professionals.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2000\" data-end=\"2163\">Art has always been an important part of his life.
